Apple vs Microsoft as expressed in Finder and Windows explorer 8 via @parislemon

The difference between Apple's Finder and Microsoft Windows 8 Explorer, is startling. While Apple tries to hide the filesystem, Microsoft exhibits it.

Even myself, being a Windows Explorer fan in 30 years, am very relieved working in iOS and OSX. The filesystem is just something I don't want to remembered all the time!

The orginal story is from Building Windows 8 blog, whitch tells how they use statistics on how to improve the use of the Excplorer. Contrary to Apple, which simply states that the filesystem is passè and acts accordingly.
