The New Yorker has 100 thousand subscribers on iPad – and some in Norway too!

Contrary to convensional wisdom which said iPad is just for interactive experiences, The New Yorker, the best-selling magazine for Conde Nast on iPad, is doing it great on the iPad with it's focus on nicelooking text.

I'm not subscribing all the time, but renewed it yesterday after reading the incredible well written story of the capture and killing of Osama Bin Laden. It went 16 full pages on two columns on my iPad. Marvellous reading!

Single-issue cost almost $6, but that's peanuts in comparision in what we've paid for the printed magazine in Europe.
