Why all in the IT business should try to follow Steve Jobs presentation which start in 2 hours.

Apple invented the app and is the only provider with a vibrant app eco-system, where people actually spend money. And lot's of money too.

The man heading Apple is Steve Jobs. He founded Apple, was throwed out, and then asked to come back. He then re-invented the MP3 player with iPod, re-invented the smartphone with iPhone, invented a totally new line of computers with iPad and has some time been active with his "hobby" Apple TV, and bringing it into the iOS universe of apps and media services.

All this when taking over the lead of the PC market for the second time in his life (the first with Apple II).

Steve Jobs thinks, in the sense described in Making Time by TechCrunch Steve Gilmore.
Now Jobs has thought about the future of about both the PC and the mobile devices and how they could use the cloud in a sensible way for consumers.
Steve Jobs has changed the game many times before. He may do it again.

And everyone in our industry should follow him today and tomorrow, because he has changed our lifes earlier, and he may do it again. And it's big fun to get things directly from Jobs himself.

So if you don't follow, don't tell me. I'm going to be ashamed on yours behalf.

Well, after this rant, I have to admit. It doesn't seem that Apple will put up a life stream of the event. So we may have to follow people in TechCrunch and their life reporting.

You can also follow me. I will dutifully try to sense what's going on and pass it to you on http://iakttakelser.com and on @mortjac on twitter and on http://facebook.com/appslifestyle. See you there in one and a half hour!
