The iPhone 4 Retina display is way better that iPhone 3GS. A test shows that it’s even better that Samsung Galaxy S. A post in PCMAG.com by PJ Jacobowitz explains:
But despite the Super AMOLED’s incredible contrast and low screen reflectance, Soneria concluded that the iPhone 4 offers the best mobile display. He said that compared to the iPhone 4’s LCD, the “Super AMOLED’s contrast ratio is visually insignificant except under dark ambient lighting which is seldom the case for mobile displays.” In his full report, he showed 14 ways the iPhone 4 has the best display. For instance, the iPhone’s LCD is the sharpest (with the most pixels per inch) and it has 24-bit color across all applications.
